TAMARIND DRINK (TELU GOLA)
1/4 cup tamarind (imli) , soaked in water for 1 hour
2 tbsp jaggery (gur)
1/2 cup cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
a pinch rock salt (sendha namak)
1- Remove the skin of the tamarind, deseed and strain the pulp.
2- Combine the tamarind pulp and remaining ingredients and blend in a mixer along with 4 cups water.
3- Serve chilled.
